QB

This is QB, a red-tail hawk. She broke her collar bone in a crash landing and was rehabilitated so that she can partially fly again. Because of her injury, she cannot properly rotate her wing and therefore cannot successfully fly very far. She is now kept as a program animal to teach others about native wildlife.

Her name is QB or "queen bitch" because she isn't very nice. She seems to love men and will cooperate with them, but when a woman handles her she will not cooperate at all. This includes biting, turning around, not staying on the holder's hand etc. Nonetheless, she is beautiful.
